A reverse comedy that tells the story of a perfectionist assassin who falls and hits his head in a sauna, giving him amnesia. When a down-and-out actor switches locker keys with him, they switch lives until the hit-man, who soon becomes an action hero on TV, starts to remember things

Synopsis: In 1801, after a new king ascended the throne, a scholar Jeong Yak-jeon who served the late king is exiled to Heuk-san Island. When he lands on the unknown island with fears, rather he is amazed by wonders of various sea creatures. There he meets Chang-dae, a young fisherman who is a huge admirer of Confucianism and has a wide knowledge about the sea. Fascinated by his knowledge, Jeong decides to write a book about the sea and asks Chang-dae to help him write the book, in exchange for helping Chang-dae’s study of Confucianism

Synopsis: Parasite (2019), directed by Bong Joon-ho, tells the story of the struggling Kim family, who gradually infiltrate the wealthy Park household by posing as skilled workers through deceitful means. At first, their scheme seems successful, but the discovery of a secret bunker beneath the Park house—where the former housekeeper’s husband has been secretly living—sets off a chain of tensions and violence. During a chaotic birthday party, class resentment explodes, leaving multiple deaths in its wake, including Mr. Kim fleeing into the bunker himself. The film ends with Ki-woo’s dream of buying the Park house to free his father, a poignant reminder of the near impossibility of escaping systemic poverty and inequality.

Synopsis: One’s ancestors’ tomb spot could change one’s destiny. Jae-Sang (CHO Seung-Woo), a prodigal geomancer, loses his family while trying to stop the Kim family from conquering Korea by getting their hands on all the propitious tomb spots. 13 years later, Heung-Sun from a fallen royal family comes to Jae-Sang and suggests ousting the Kim family from power. The two men decide to work together, but they soon reach conflict when they learn of a tomb spot that would produce two kings in a family.

As the boundary between cinema and reality begins to blur, the story unfolds as a sharp satire of artistic obsession, censorship, and the absurd challenges of filmmaking under an authoritarian regime.
