On 18 August 2025, a Korea Centre delegation comprising Director Dr. Jojin V John, Visiting Korea Professor Prof. Sang Yoon Ma, and Dr. DPK Pillay, Research Fellow at MP-IDSA visited Kristu Jayanti Deemed to be University, Bangalore. The delegation held a comprehensive meeting with Vice Chancellor Fr. Dr. Augustine George CMI to discuss potential academic collaborations. Subsequently, separate meetings were conducted with the Deans of various faculties to explore the establishment of a Korean Studies programme at the university. The discussions encompassed curriculum development, faculty exchange opportunities, student mobility programmes, and strategies to strengthen India-Korea academic partnerships.
