On 3 November 2023, Friday , Korea Centre Scholar in Residence, Dr. Paik Haksoon delivered the third and final lecture on the topic “International Politics and Inter-Korean Relations: Problems and Prospects”. Dr. Paik talked about the biggest problems and concerns in the Korean Peninsula and the prospects for international relations and inter-korean relations. He talked in detail about the influence of the USA in the Korean Peninsula and the factors contributing to the order crisis. He also mentioned about the rise of China, US- China Rivalry and North Korea’s nuclear powers. He also discussed the impact of these issues on North Korea, South Korea and the region. He highlighted the importance of dialogue and diplomatic solutions to these issues. He concluded the lecture by talking about what the future might hold.
